Classroom Video Resources

Learn more about adding video to your classroom presentations, including where to find reliable video resources and how to cite according to copyright.

Best Practices

To help you in bringing video into your presentations, Conestoga's Library Resource Centre hosts numerous databases for searching and locating quality video. You can also use resources like TedTalks, Khan Academy, and YouTube videos. Scroll down to find out more about using and citing these resources.

For all of these resources, you can always sign in or create an account using your Conestoga email and a generic, easy to remember password.

Closed Captioning must be turned on for each video played. See below for instructions for each database.

When citing YouTube or streamed video, use APA @ Conestoga's guidelines. Tailor to suit your unique program or discipline.

For more advice on copyright and your responsibilities, contact James Yochem, Copyright Coordinator in the Library Resource Centre.
