Adding to your Presentation
It is recommended to link to this type of video from your PowerPoint presentation.
- In the Lynda.com video you would like to link to, choose the Share icon in the upper right corner.
- Below "Share this video within your organization," choose the blue *Copy button. Alternatively, you can choose to "Share this course within your organization" which will link to all the videos in the course.
- Go to the PowerPoint presentation slide where you would like to present the video.
- Type the title of the video into your presentation slide.
- Select the text you have typed and right click on it.
- in the right click menu, choose Hyperlink.
- Paste in the link you copied from the Lynda.com video.
- Choose OK.
- The text will now appear hyperlinked. You will be able to click the link during your presentation to play the video.
Closed Captions
The NFB is a digital film archive, with films spanning the 20th and 21st centuries. Some films may not yet be closed captioned. Please make sure to select only films which are captioned, using the Accessibility filter, and choosing Closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
Select the CC icon in the lower right corner of the video frame and choose English.
