Did You Know: Your board work can be accessible too.

Write effectively on the board to consider visibility and legibility.

Did you know...

Be sure that your board work is accessible to all students. Walk to the back of the classroom and check periodically that the contrast of your marker, the neatness of your printing, and size of your letters/numbers are visible from all seats. Avoid red and green markers, as some students may have challenges with those colours and they are more difficult to erase. Don’t write in cursive as it is no longer taught in most elementary schools.
